The Fedora Council has shut down discussions on the AI Developer Desktop proposal.
The Community Initiatives process is being paused.
The AI developer desktop initiative proposal has been drawing a wide mix of views from where NVIDIA’s CUDA belongs or not in the Fedora ecosystem due to its closed-source nature down to the ethics and power requirements of AI / Large Language Models.
